Remember to file your tax return before:
31 October 2019 for paper tax returns
31 January 2020 for online tax returns
You can file your Tax Return now and pay any tax you own by 31 January 2020.
What happens if I miss the deadline?
Penalties £100 if your tax return is up to 3 months late. Then you will have to pay more if it's later, or if you pay your tax bill late. You will also be charged interest on late payments.
